Private 4G & 5G Network Services

Tū Ātea are uniquely positioned with exclusive, nation-wide, long term management rights for spectrum across a range of common global bands including N78 and B40 bands (amongst others).
Tū Ātea have partnered with leading global Open-RAN technology innovators to provide end-to-end private 4G and 5G radio network services offered on our spectrum.
With a scalable, state-of-the-art, carrier-grade converged packet-core, Tū Ātea offers the first commercial private 5G Stand-Alone service in Aotearoa, and are working on several projects providing private network services to enterprise customers.

Design, Build, Operate Services

Through our subsidiary, Tū Ātea Network Services Limited, we offer an end to end DBOFM managed service (Design, Build, Operate, Finance and Maintain) for small facilities or large industrial operations.
Off the back of our December 2023 acquisition of the Broadtech Group, Tū Ātea Network Services deliver industry-leading radio network design, build and operational technology services to the Broadcast, Telecommunications, Healthcare, Aged Care, Utility, Media and Enterprise sectors across New Zealand and the Pacific.
We deliver and support a wide range of solutions including macro and in building cellular, digital healthcare, microwave linking and connectivity, broadcast studio production and transmission, film and media production, maritime and critical communications. Clients include the three mobile network operators, One NZ, Spark and 2degreesMobile, and the Rural Connectivity Group, Connexa, FortySouth, Coastguard and other critical networks.

Off-grid Network as a Service

Tū Ātea have developed a range of off-grid compact rapid deployable services capable of providing private 4G and 5G Network-as-a-Service depending on the application.
They can be rapidly deployed anywhere in Aotearoa to extend an existing private network, to provide redundancy or additional service in highly operational environments or special events.

Neutral Host Coverage Solutions (coming soon)

Working closely with the mobile network operators, Tū Ātea is in the process of developing its Neutral Host capability, which will enable us to extend the coverage of the three mobile networks across our network services and spectrum.
